Humboldt Research Fellowship Awarded to Prof. Vakhtang Jandieri

The Alexander-von-Humboldt Foundation has awarded Prof. Dr. Vakhtang Jandieri of the Nagoya Institute of Technology funding for a two-month research stay at the Laboratory for General and Theoretical Electrical Engineering (ATE) at the University of Duisburg-Essen, starting in August 2026. His research proposal, “Numerical Analysis of Polar Vortex Formation in Ferroelectric Superlattices,” will further strengthen our long-standing collaboration and advance our joint fundamental research on the topological material properties at THz frequencies. This research is currently being pursued within the framework of the MARIE project M03 by M.Sc. Marvin Degen and Prof. Dr. Daniel Erni.
