From July 3rd to 5th 2017 the first MARIE annual meeting took place at the Georg Christoph Lichtenberg-Haus in Darmstadt, Germany. With 17 scientific presentations of MARIE PhD candidates and 4 keynote speeches by outstanding scientists from the USA, Canada and Japan the meeting was a great success.
